The Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College encourages the appreciation and understanding of visual aesthetics through direct engagement with original works of art and design, and serves as a catalyst for the cultivation of creative dialog and diverse perspectives through the arts. The museum offers unique learning experiences through its community outreach initiative GOGO MOAD!, and through its varied public lecture series. MOAD’s education programs are designed to teach, connect, and open communication between visiting professionals and the local community in a way that is both personal and informative. MDC's Museum of Art and Design will be closed until Spring 2018 to undergo exciting renovations to better serve our community. While we improve our historic building,
The Museum's FREE community kids program GOGO MOAD! will continue every 3rd Saturday of the month at various locations throughout the city. Check out our upcoming GOGO MOAD.
